Top Ultimea Projector Nova C40 of 2026

A short wall can still support a huge picture, but the wrong throw distance can leave your screen cramped or your projector sitting in the middle of the room. The Ultimea Projector Nova C40 search centers on a projector that solves that placement headache with an ultra short throw design, while its stated 0.23:1 throw ratio can produce a 150-inch image from about 19 inches away. That setup may suit apartments, media rooms, and living rooms where ceiling mounting is difficult.

After carefully analyzing the supplied manufacturer specifications, this WEMAX model stands out for its stated 2100 ISO lumens, ALPD laser light source, listed 3000:1 contrast ratio, HDR10 and HLG support, and true 4K UHD description. The brightness rating is manufacturer stated, not an independent screen measurement, so direct sunlight can still reduce contrast and color impact. A darker room or an ambient light rejecting screen should give the image a better chance to look its best. For broader brightness context, see this projector brightness guide for outdoor viewing, then compare the included Google TV, official Netflix, 3D support, MEMC, Dolby Audio, DTS-HD, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and HDMI 2.1 features against your setup.

Top Product Questions

FAQs

Is the WEMAX Nova Pro 4K Ultra Short Throw Projector suitable for a small room?

Yes, its stated 0.23:1 ultra short throw ratio is designed for limited wall distance. The product description says it can create a 150-inch image from about 19 inches away. Measure the wall and furniture carefully, since a very large image may not fit every small-room layout.

Can this projector handle ambient light from windows?

It lists 2100 ISO lumens as a manufacturer-stated brightness rating, which may help in moderate ambient light. Direct sunlight can still wash out dark scenes and reduce perceived contrast. Close curtains or pair the projector with an ALR screen for a stronger living-room setup.

Does it provide native 4K resolution?

The supplied product description calls it a true 4K UHD projector, but it does not provide a separate native panel specification. It also lists HDR10, HLG, 110% Rec.709, and 1.07 billion colors. Buyers comparing native 4K and pixel-shifted designs should confirm the detailed imaging architecture with the manufacturer before ordering.

Does it need keystone correction or lens shift for placement?

The supplied specifications do not list a lens shift range or keystone correction range. A UST projector should sit squarely with the screen because angled placement can create uneven edges. Use a level, stable surface and review this projector connection guide before planning a source and mounting layout.

Is the laser light source better than a lamp for long-term value?

It uses an ALPD laser light source, so the design avoids the lamp replacement question found with traditional lamp projectors. The supplied data does not state a laser lifespan, yearly running cost, or replacement policy. Check the warranty and service terms before treating the light source as a guaranteed long-term saving.

Does it work for gaming and streaming?

Yes, it includes HDMI 2.1, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Google TV, official Netflix, and Google Assistant. MEMC is listed for smoother motion in sports, action films, and gaming. The supplied specifications do not state input lag, so competitive gamers should not assume a low-latency result without a published measurement.
